The shareholders of Hamburg-based Portal Systems AG elected two new members to the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meetings on 24 August 2023 and 22 February 2024. At the same time, Carsten Deecke was re-elected as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for a second term.
Frank von Orlikowski, CEO of Portal Systems AG: “Over the past five years, Carsten Deecke has played a key role in the transformation of our company from a traditional IT system house to a vendor of SaaS products and in the organisation of our company, thus setting the course for our success”.

Mario Dönnebrink
Portal Systems also welcomes two new members to its Supervisory Board: André Hoseas and Mario Dönnebrink.
André Hoseas is the founder of Portal Systems, was CEO from 2018 to 2021 and retired from the operational business in 2021. He brings more than 20 years of experience with Portal Systems to the Supervisory Board, making him an important and experienced source of advice and ideas for the Management Board.
Mario Dönnebrink worked for d.velop AG for a total of 19 years until March 2022, including many years as a member of the Management Board and most recently as Chairman of the Management Board. During this time, he developed the company into one of the leading providers in the field of document management and consistently geared it towards the future as a cloud and platform provider.
Frank von Orlikowski: “Mario Dönnebrink brings a wealth of experience in marketing, organisational development, building indirect partner sales and scaling business models to Portal Systems AG. In addition, as an external consultant, he will provide us with strategic and operational support in the implementation of these topics. We are very pleased to have been able to win such an expert for our company”.
Michael Hoseas and André Grüneboom retired from the Board. The shareholders, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board thanked both for their commitment and expertise during their five-year term of office.
Following the successful transformation of Portal Systems AG into a provider of SaaS products, the company is now focusing on the strategic development and sustainable expansion of its business.
Carsten Deecke
Dipl.-Kfm. Carsten Deecke, born in 1962, studied business administration and is a tax consultant, auditor and partner at Dierkes & Partner. He is also a member of the Management Board of DIERKES Hamburg AG Wirtschaftsprüfergesellschaft.
The company is one of the few product vendors on the market to combine enterprise content management (DMS/ECM) and SharePoint expertise under one roof. Based on its own SaaS product suite “Shareflex ECM Online”, Portal Systems offers solutions for file and document management, contract management, QM/document control and incoming invoice processing. Shareflex is fully integrated with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online and offers a modern, cloud-based alternative to traditional DMS/ECM systems. As of March 2024, more than 300 customers already rely on Shareflex.
